Jade Thirlwall admits she suffered horrific injury after BRIT Awards show went wrong
Former Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall performed an unforgettable rendition of her hit single Angel Of My Dreams at the 2025 BRIT Awards - but it didn't go without a mishap or two
Singer Jade Thirlwall has revealed that she suffered an injury following her incredible performance at the Brit Awards earlier this month.
On March 1, huge names in music and entertainment gathered at London's O2 arena for the 2025 ceremony - which was opened with a dazzling performance from American pop sensation, Sabrina Carpenter. And while those tuning in were thrilled by the Espresso singer's performance, many later issues messages online blasting the show organisers for not giving the honour to British singer Jade.
The former Little Mix star, 32, was given the stage roughly halfway through the night where she sang her hit single Angel of My Dreams - with an edgy performance that saw her in a marriage scene, a death scene, and being reborn as an angel. Fans were stunned by her vocals and performance and lamented the fact they'd had to wait so long to see her on stage.

The IT Girl singer has admitted that she suffered whiplash after taking to the stage. "It was the scariest thing ever.
"I hate rides, I hate rollercoasters, I didn’t think about the fact that like free-falling through the air at the start of the performance could be quite jarring. When I was in it, I was like I’ve got to do it now. I got a bit of a neck injury off the back of it, bit of whiplash."
On the special night, Jade won the Best Pop Act award, fighting off competition from Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Lola Young and Myles Smith. Accepting the award, the chart topping X Factor star paid tribute to a wide range of people - including music officials, family members, and her Little Mix co-stars.
Taking to the stage after her epic win, the singer gushed: "I did do a little piece of paper in case I won... I know it's cringe, but you won't forget people. So firstly, my God, I'm flustered. I need to thank the fans, because that's why I've won this award. Thank you so much for supporting me and relentlessly forcing everyone around you to support me. I really appreciate it."
She then thanked even closer people to her, saying: "My partner, Jordan, my mom, dad, my brother, Carl, and all my family and friends always believed in me. Thank you for making me feel like it was a realistic goal to be a pop star ever since I was a little girl."
Lastly, she said: "And finally, finally, finally, my Little Mix sisters... It changed my life." As fans cheered Jade on for her speech, fans watching at home gushed over her win.
