At 5.00 am ET Monday, Eurostat is scheduled to issue euro area retail sales data for February. Ahead of the data, the euro weakened against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 130.10 against the yen, 1.1887 against the greenback, 0.8648 against the pound and 1.0996 against the franc as of 4:55 am ET.
