Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov took part in the solemn ceremony of presenting state awards of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event took place in Ala-Archa state residence in Bishkek. The awards were presented to 167 people, including foremost workers, cultural figures and politicians.
Opening the official part of the ceremony, the head of state shared that he was glad for such a pleasant beginning of the New Year, which was marked by a meeting with compatriots, who by their work were honored with the honor and respect of the people.
“Today we have gathered to present state awards and high titles to labor veterans, worthy sons and daughters of our Motherland. You have received these state awards with your honest and creative work. The moment when self-sacrificing work is appreciated - the happiest moments in a person's life. I sincerely congratulate each of you on high state awards!” Jeenbekov told, expressing confidence that the heroes of the occasion will continue to make a significant contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan.
The President also noted that those present in the hall are the most worthy example in raising the young generation.
Earlier, Jeenbekov had signed the Decree on Presenting State Awards of the Kyrgyz Republic.
